Wall Ball

In the wall-ball shot, the medicine ball must be taken from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to hit the specified target.
The rep is credited when the centre of the ball hits the target at or above the specified target height. If the ball hits low or does not hit the wall, it is a “no rep.” If the ball drops to the ground from the top, it cannot be caught off the bounce to begin the next rep. The ball must settle on the ground before being picked up for the next rep.


Rx males will use a 9kg ball and throw to a 10 foot target.  Rx Females will use a 6kg ball and throw to a 9 foot target.

Scaled males will use an 8kg ball and throw to a 10 foot target.  Scaled Females will use a 5kg ball and throw to a 9 foot target.


Power Clean

The barbell begins on the ground. Touch and go is permitted. No bouncing or dropping and catching the barbell on the rebound.  Once dropped, the barbell must settle on the ground before the athlete begins the next repetition.

The rep is credited when the athlete’s hips and knees are fully extended, and the bar is resting on the shoulders with the elbows in front of the bar.


Rx Males will use a 70kg barbell, Rx Ladies will use a 45 kg barbell

Scaled Males will use a 55 kg barbell, Scaled Ladies will use a 37.5 kg barbell

Video Submission Standards

Both athletes must be clearly visible in the video

A timer must be visible in the video – Wod Proof app is preferred

Shoot the video so all exercises can be seen clearly meeting the movement standards

Videos must be uncut and unedited to accurately display the performance
